Back in 6th grade, my parents gave me a Canon Rebel XS. I couldn’t put it down and felt joy in any subject I found, especially the life around me. I could feel the connections in a single photo.

I first began my photojournalism experiences with Jim Kelly at Indiana University, and with his expertise and constructive criticism, I was able to focus to become a better media professional and better photographer.
Even when I was finishing my degree, I had a desire to continue capturing the moments of humanity we all share in common.
